Police have shared an update after a woman was killed when she was run over by the slasher attachment of a tractor in a suspected domestic violence incident.
Emergency services were called after reports of a sudden death at an Undullah Rd property in Woodhill, near Beaudesert, south of Brisbane, about 9.30am Thursday.
When officers arrived at the property, they found a 41-year-old Woodhill woman.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are questioning a 44-year-old man, believed to be the woman’s farmer husband, according to Nine.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said the woman had been found with “significant injuries” after a “farm machinery incident”.
Logan Criminal Investigation Branch have since launched an investigation into the woman’s sudden death.
“A crime scene has been declared and investigations are underway,” Queensland Police stated.
A 44-year-old man is assisting police with inquiries.
It’s understood the property is a sugar cane farm.
