Season 36 of The Simpsons saw WWE Superstar John Cena make his highly awaited debut on the sitcom. The announcement of Cena’s appearance on the show was made by The Simpsons’ X account. They shared a picture of a muscular guy wearing a purple shirt and captioned it “A big episode needs even bigger guest stars”
Now, it goes without saying that Cena’s fame and fortune have only grown ever since he stopped being exclusive to WWE.So, it was only a matter of time before he made his way over to the Simpsons. After Bret “Hitman” Hart, Cena is now only the second WWE wrestler to be invited for an appearance on The Simpsons. During his debut on the show, Cena played a role that no one saw coming. Comic Book Guy and his wife Kumiko Albertson were in the comic book store when she went into labor.
Now, Kumiko was screaming out for a doctor, but instead of a medical professional, John Cena showed up to help and delivered their baby. After the baby was delivered, Cena celebrated by doing his signature “You Can’t See Me” taunt in the baby’s face. This is one of the funniest scenes that Cena has done in his career, and it leads people to ask whether this is the way forward? Let’s take a look.
