History of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes: WWE Playlist
Here are three reasons to support that argument
1 Cody is a massive singles star
While it is going to be electrifying to see the combination of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns beating the hell out of the Bloodline together at Bad Blood, none of the two actually needed any support to draw fans to arenas.Cody has been one of the top singles stars in the world, and not just in WWE, ever since he made his highly anticipated WWE return in 2022. He has gained massive popularity because of his sheer hard work and the in-ring skills the “American Nightmare” possesses. Cody never actually needed support from his opponent to draw people to seats. There are unexplored angles against several other worthy superstars in WWE that need to be looked at in terms of Cody.
2. Cody vs Roman Is Still Spicy.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes form a dream team: SmackDown highlights, Sept. 13, 2024
Even after beating the hell out of each other in two consecutive Wrestlemania main events, whenever Cody and Roman come face to face, the atmosphere is electric and you feel something is about to give. Putting them together in a team would diminish the fire both the stalwarts have against each other. It would also kill the little bit of spice left for the two to look forward to. Seeing them together fight against the Bloodline, is like making it forcibly friendly and hunky-dory. They could still clash for the Undisputed WWE Championship going ahead, and continuing this alliance for long will hamper those opportunities.
3. Roman Should Tackle The Bloodline 2.0 Alone
Roman Reigns locks The Bloodline inside a Steel Cage: SmackDown highlights, Sept. 13, 2024
The title of the “Tribal Chief” or the “Original Tribal Chief”(O.T.C.) is no joke. So, if Roman has the audacity to call himself the only Tribal Chief, he should be able to tackle his naysayers and competitors alone. Having Cody’s help all along, while recapturing the “Tribal Chief” title would leave some question marks on his legacy as the leader of the Bloodline. Therefore, to totally prove his point correctly to the world, the “Head of the Table” should be able to tackle Solo Sikoa and his recruits, on his own. Also, the fact that there isn’t really much for Cody to achieve from this alliance and rivalry with the Bloodline, further proves the above point.
