Acting on information of the locals, Jahangirabad police reached the spot along with divers and fished out both the bodies in around an hour.
Jahangirabad police rushed both the bodies to the mortuary for postmortem and informed the family members.
Police would register a murder case against the deceased for killing his minor nephew.

Police said that the family had separated the deceased man and his family from their joint family for three months.
Since then, his wife resided at her parents’ home in Aishbagh and the deceased remained mentally stressed.

It was suspected that he killed his nephew to take revenge.
The family did not even bring his body from the mortuary to their home after the postmortem.
It was directly taken to the graveyard for funeral.
SHO Jehangirabad Ajay Tiwari said that the deceased Kesar Taj, 25, a resident of Chiklod Road in Jahangirabad, earlier ran the family’s grocery shop with his father and elder brother Mohammed Faisal.
The shop is located at their house itself.
The deceased boy Mohammed Ahmed Taj, 7, was the only child of Faisal.
Ahmed was a student of KG-2 at a private school in Jahangirabad.
Kesar approached Ahmed’s school on Thursday morning around 11.30am and took him with him from the school.
Instead of taking him home, he took him out with him to Lower Lake in Khatlapura at the ‘Burj’ locally known as suicide point.
Few minutes later, he pushed Ahmed into the lake.
A local present near the spot saw him pushing the body into the lake.
He raised an objection after which fearing of being caught Kesar also jumped into the lake.
SHO Tiwari said that acting on information from the locals Jahangirabad police reached the spot and fished out the uncle-nephew duo with the help of divers in around an hour.
Police sent their bodies to mortuary for post-mortem.
SHO Tiwari said that it was revealed that Faisal and Kesar along with their father resided as a joint family.
After a dispute around three months back, the family separated Kesar and his family from their joint family.
Since then, Kesar’s wife had been residing at her parents’ home in Aishbagh with her six-year-old son.
Kesar has been staying at his house and his wife’s parents’ home.
He was going through mental stress and behaved abnormally.
