TIRUPATI: YSRCP’s Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav stirred up a controversy by making predictions about former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu‘s death in 2024.
The Telugu Desam party has vehemently condemned Gorantla Madhav’s remarks and alleged that his comments reflect the conspiracy being hatched by the ruling YSRCP government to physically eliminate Chandrababu Naidu.
The TDP chief who was arrested in the Skill development case by the Crime investigation department (CID) on September 9, and has been confined to the Rajahmundry central prison since then, has himself expressed concerns about his personal safety at the prison, in the form of a letter addressed to the ACB court judge at Vijayawada a couple of days ago.
Amidst all these developments, while taking part at the YSRCP’s Samajika bus yatra campaign at Bukkarayasamudram in Anantapur district on Friday, the Hindupur MP said that the TDP chief who first took out bus yatra is now undertaking the jail yatra and that his son Nara Lokesh who undertook a padayatra is now frequenting the Delhi yatras.
Gorantla Madhav also ridiculed Jana Sena chief Pavan Kalyan for abandoning his much touted Varahi yatra midway.
“In 2024 YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will become the Chief minister again and Chandrababu Naidu will see his death as nobody can stop Jagan’s jaitra yatra”, Hindupur MP predicted.
Former TDP minister and Rayadurg MLA Kalava Srinivasulu vehemently condemned Gorantla Madhav’s remarks on Naidu’s death and alleged that it clearly reflects the psyche of the ruling party and a conspiracy being hatched to physically eliminate the former Chief minister.
“Right from the moment our leader was lodged at the Rajahmundry prison, there have been several apprehensions regarding his personal safety. Video clips of Naidu who is a Z plus category protectee being questioned by the CID gets leaked. And now a ruling party MP says Chandrababu Naidu will be dead in 2024. Doesn’t all these clearly establish the ruling party’s motive to eliminate the TDP chief”, Kalava Srinivasulu questioned.
The former TDP minister demanded the central government to intervene in the issue immediately and provide adequate security to Chandrababu Naidu as the ruling YSRCP has a background linked to numerous suspicious deaths in the prison in the past.
