Two women have been charged after a man was allegedly doused in petrol and set alight at a Queensland pub.
The 26-year-old man suffered severe burns during the alleged incident which unfolded at a Harristown pub just before 10pm on Wednesday.
He was transported to Toowoomba Hospital before being flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 35-year-old Wilsonton woman and a 31-year-old Newtown woman have been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
They will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Friday.
Investigations are continuing to locate the man involved.
