India won its sixth game in a row in the ongoing 2023 Cricket World Cup. The Indian cricket team defeated the defending champions England by as much as 100 runs. In six matches in the tournament England have only one win, against Bangladesh, and are rooted firmly to the bottom of the table. A rampaging Team India put up a sensational all-round show as Rohit Sharma and co.blew away England for paltry 129 runs in 34.5 overs in the World Cup clash in Lucknow. With the win, India’s dream run in the tournament continued as they reclaimed the top spot in the standings. England on the other hand, slumped to their fifth defeat in 6 matches and are now virtually out of the reckoning for a place in the semis.
