A fourth man has been charged over an alleged stabbing machete attack along a Sydney nightclub strip in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called to the Oxford St nightclub in Surry Hills, believed to be Noir Sydney, about 3am on July 29 following reports of a stabbing.

Crowds watched on as a 25-year-old man was approached by a group of men armed with knives before one allegedly stabbed him with a machete.

Another man, 34, was also stabbed when he stepped in to try to stop the violence.

The younger man was driven to St Vincent’s Hospital by friends and treated for his injuries.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the older man before he was taken to hospital for injuries to his arm and hand. Both men have since been released from hospital.

Three men, one aged 18 and two aged 21, have since been charged during the investigation and remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, detectives arrested a fourth man about 7am on Thursday.

The 18-year-old was arrested on Hollingsworth Rd at Marsden Park and charged with causing a wound/grievous bodily harm to a person with intent to murder, affray, and reckless wounding in company.

He was refused bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Thursday.

Footage from outside Noir nightclub shows partygoers milling around on the street before two men are seen sprinting through the crowd and appearing to crash into another man, thought to be the 25-year-old.

In the CCTV, obtained by NCA NewsWire, one of the men stands up and moves away, while the second stays on the ground and raises his arm multiple times towards the person who was tackled to the ground.

Moments later, another person is seen pushing the second man away, and he then sprints across the street.

Both of the alleged victims have since been released from hospital.
