MasterChef India‘s second season was launched on World Food Day and began with a delirious and scrumptious journey. This season, pastry Chef Pooja Dhingra replaced Chef Garima Arora and joined the trio of judges with Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Ranveer Brar.

The first three episodes were an amalgamation of all the auditions that left the judges stunned with their innovative dishes.

MasterChef India’s second season is airing onSony LIV and not the channel which is why it also caters to the OTT audience, widening its horizon.
This season becomes extremely special with the addition of home cooks, from food influencers, and bloggers to entrepreneurs. This season introduced some extremely talented home cooks. Vloggers like Kaushalya Choudhary and Prachi Agarkar and the youngest contestant Kenneth G left the judges spellbound with his culinary skills.

The judges were left emotional when Jasmine Lulla who is an entrepreneur and has a chain of cakes and confectionery stores around central India revealed that it was her late husband’s dream to see her in MasterChef India representing their hard work. She also revealed that she learnt how to make macaroons from Pooja Dhingra in 2014.
The show also gave a second chance to Subhojit Sen ‘The cook genius’ to restart his journey with MasterChef India season 2 and take a step ahead towards victory. Apart from them, there are many food influencer contestants, one of them who reached everyone’s home with his lunch box recipes, Harish Clospet. He started this series on Instagram for his daughter and how he has reached MasterChef India.

The show also caters to some of the most authentic cuisines from the untouched regions of the country. Rukhsaar, Kirti, Farah and other contestants brought the essences of their village, city and state on the plate for the judges.
MasterChef India 2 can be watched on Sony LIV daily at 8pm.
