During the two-day AI Safety Summit in the UK on Thursday, November 2, Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar met with Elon Musk, the richest man in the world. The encounter disclosed Musk’s son’s Indian heritage.
On social media network X (previously Twitter), Chandrasekhar, the Union minister of State for IT, shared a photo from their encounter.

Chandrasekhar learned during their conversation that Musk had named one of his boys after the Indian-American physicist and Nobel prize winner S Chandrasekhar.
“Look who I bumped into at #AISafetySummit at Bletchley Park, UK. @elonmusk shared that his son with @shivon has a middle name “Chandrasekhar” – named after 1983 Nobel physicist Prof S Chandrasekhar” the minister of state tweeted.

The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Dr S Chandrasekhar, also known as Subhramanyan Chandrasekhar, an Indian-born physicist, “for his theoretical studies of the physical processes of importance to the structure and evolution of stars.”
In November 2021, Strider, the son, and Azure, the daughter, were welcomed into the world by Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis. Elon Musk merely tweeted, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” at the time, without offering any commentary on the babies’ birth. Shivon Alice Zilis is a Canadian venture capitalist who works in the technology and artificial intelligence fields.
Elon Musk is now attending the AI Safety Summit in the UK.
Policymakers, investors, and innovators convene at the Global AI Summit to talk about artificial intelligence. The state of AI, investment cases, pledges, and governance are all examined at the summit.
At the two-day summit, Rajeev Chandrasekhar is representing India.
