VARANASI: An MP/MLA court in Uttar Pradesh‘s Ghazipur district sentenced gangster-turned politician Mukhtan Ansari to 10 years in jail in a case related to Gangsters Act.
This is Ansari’s sixth conviction since September 2022.

He was booked under the Gangsters Act in 2010 in connection with the murder of a teacher, Kapil Deo Singh, in the district in 2009, and an attempt to murder complaint lodged by one Meer Hasan.
