“There is an undeniable and immediate threat to CBN’s life. He is being deliberately harmed.His safety is unquestionably at risk,” saidNara Lokesh in a tweet.
Stating that CBN is facing a dire situation, dealing with mosquitoes, contaminated water, weight loss, infections, and allergies, all without access to timely medical assistance, Lokesh alleged, “The GoAP is trying to administer steroids to him. What is it that the Government doctors and administration are trying to hide?.”
“If any harm befalls Chandrababu Naidu, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be responsible,” he added in a tweet.
Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari said on X that, “I am deeply concerned for my husband’s well-being, as the Govt of Andhra Pradesh has failed to provide him with the timely medical care he urgently needs while he remains in prison. He has already lost 5 kg weight, and any further weight loss could have severe consequences for his kidneys. The overhead water tanks are unsanitary and pose a serious health risk. These dire circumstances create a clear and immediate threat to my husband’s life.”
Brahmani also expressed concern over the health condition of Naidu. She said on X that “Heartbreaking. @ncbn garu is currently detained in inadequate and unsanitary prison conditions that pose a considerable risk to his health. Urgent medical attention is required, as medical professionals have raised concerns about his well-being. Timely medical care is not being provided. He has lost 5 kg, and additional weight loss could adversely impact his kidneys. We’re deeply worried about him”.
The party senior functionary and politburo member Yanamala Ramkrishnudu said that if anything happened to Naidu, chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is responsible.
He questioned as to how jail authorities give a report without releasing the report given by the doctors. He demanded the state government to allow Naidu’s personal doctors to do medical tests. He said that with the present health ailments, Naidu’s liver and heart will be affected.
Tensions prevailed at Rajahmundry central jail as large number of TDP workers gathered raising slogans against the state government. They have given a call for jail bharo. Police detained the protesters. On the other hand, the TDP senior leaders met at party headquarters to discuss future course of action.
Party state president K Atchennaidu said that the state government and the chief minister will be made responsible if anything happens to Naidu.
