Rajkot: A 15-year-old girl studying in Class 9 died of cardiac arrest while entering the examination hall of her school in Amreli town, Gujarat, on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sakshi Rajosara, a native of Jasdan taluka in Rajkot. She collapsed in the classroom of Shantaba Gajera School in the morning.
Sakshi was taken to hospital in an unconscious state where the doctors declared her dead.Her body was sent for postmortem to ascertain the cause of death.
Concerns have been raised over the spate of cardiac arrests among youngsters in the state, especially in Rajkot, over the past few months.
