NOIDA: At least four people were injured after a lift malfunctioned and had a free fall inside Yatharth Hospital in UP’s Noida Sector 110 on Thursday afternoon.
Police said that the injuries are minor and no one was critically injured.
According to the police, the incident took place at around 3:30 pm on Thursday following which a team from phase 2 police station rushed to the spot. “The injured were shifted to the emergency ward for treatment. During investigation it was found that the service life malfunctioned and had a free fall from a height of eight feet. Four people have been injured but all are out of danger and have received minor injuries,” Hirdesh Katheriya, additional deputy commissioner of police, Central Noida, said.
Further investigation is underway.
