Navratri is a nine-night Hindu celebration that honours the Goddess Durga in all of her forms and attributes. Traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya are performed, and people dress in colourful apparel, offer prayers, and gather to celebrate the spirit of unity and devotion. While Bengal celebrates it with the grand Durga Pujo.

The sixth day of Navratri marks the beginning of Pujo.

The actor turned politicianSmriti Irani took to her Instagram handle with a special wish for Shashti. She dedicated her post to the well-being of children and offered her prayers.
Smriti wrote, “लिखना है ज़िंदगी के बोर्ड पर ,हर मोड़ पर, बस ढाई अक्षर .. प्रेम से , प्रेम के On Shasti as every mother prays for the well being of her children , I offer my prayers to Ma for all children . May they be safe, happy and healthy. May they bring joy to the lives of many in their journeys.”
Netizens reacted to Smriti’s post. A user wrote, “From one mother to another, May our children be safe, blessed and happy May goddess shower blessings on all.”
While one of them wrote, “Women rock, Jai devi maa” A lot of them showered hearts in comments and lauded her.

Earlier, Smriti shared a glimpse of her interacting with students from IIM, she shared a long post expressing her joy at being a part of such enlightening conversations. She wrote, “Every reset is not a sunset but a new sunrise, a new opportunity! Of all the opportunities that have come my way in life, the opportunity to teach has been the most humbling. To engage with students from varied backgrounds in one of the most prestigious institutions in the country is no mean feat. To have them accept you in their surroundings, to take delight in deliberation & dialogue brings solace one can’t quantify. Grateful to @iimudaipur for the opportunity to serve as a Guest Lecturer. Looking forward to many more academic engagements across the board.”
