MUMBAI: Vistara, a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines on Friday announced daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Denpasar, Bali from December 01. Currently no airline flies non-stop from India to the Bali province of Indonesia.
The airline, which will operate the route with its A321LR aircraft, announced all-inclusive return fares starting at about Rs 40,000 for economy, Rs 55,000 for premium economy and Rs 130,000 for business class.”Bookings for the flights are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents,” said the airline. The Delhi-Denpasar flight UK-145 will depart at 12.30 am and arrive at the destination at 11.05 am, while the return will depart at 12.10 pm and land in Delhi at 5.45 pm (all local times).
Bali has become an increasingly sought-after holiday destination for Indians due to its accessibility, proximity, and hassle-free visa on arrival facility. Commenting on the introduction of the new destination, Vinod Kannan, CEO, Vistara said, “India is the second-largest source of foreign tourists to Bali, and with hassle-free visa-on-arrival , Bali remains one of the preferred holiday destinations for Indians, besides being popular for MICE traffic. We are delighted to be the only airline offering direct connectivity between Dehi and Bali.” Passengers should meet visa/entry requirements as specified by the respective government bodies, the airline said.
